1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by the website you visit. Among other things, they let a website remember that you are signed in.
Besides cookies, modern browsers also provide local storage, which stays on your device and is not sent to the server automatically.
2. What we use
We use strictly necessary cookies only. We do not use advertising, tracking or profiling cookies, and we do not embed third-party analytics services.
The public pages of the website are fully accessible without a single cookie being stored. The cookies below are created only when you sign in to the Portal or the admin area.
- verilic_portal — keeps you signed in to the customer Portal. Expires when the session ends or you sign out.
- verilic_admin — keeps you signed in to the admin area.
- verilic_external — temporary, used while signing in with a Google or Microsoft account and removed straight afterwards.
- verilic_portal_otp_token and verilic_admin_otp_token — temporary, carry the second authentication factor step securely. Valid for five minutes.
- Anti-forgery cookie — created by the platform when forms are submitted, protecting against CSRF attacks.
3. Local storage
Your choice in the consent notice is not stored in a cookie but in your browser's local storage, under the key verilic.cookie-consent.v1, so that the notice does not reappear on every visit.
This information stays on your device and is not sent to us.
4. How to control them
You can delete or block cookies at any time through your browser settings. You can also clear the website's local storage through your browsing data.
Because the cookies we use are necessary for the service to function, blocking them prevents signing in to the Portal. Browsing the public pages is unaffected.
5. Changes
If we ever add cookies that are not strictly necessary, we will ask for your consent first and update this page before they are activated.
